I just saw a beloved dance teacher while driving down the street. I felt like stopping, so I did. She invited me for tea. Soon we were catching up and she made us breakfast, all while still in my pajamas. All this is very counter to my usual patterns but this made my world feel beautiful and small.

There are so many reasons to say no, to not take a chance on love and connection, to not say “I love you” or “ you’re special to me” and there are so many reasons to say yes.
