There’s something to be said for not being productive, not scheduling or creating projects for ourselves and children. People always read this well-known poem as needing to maximize! Do all the things! Take advantage of our one wild and precious life!

I think having fallow times, being slow and bored and watching a bug or listening to leaves, sitting near a loved one, are the precious things.
